The studio

How a piece
comes together.

Three quiet steps. Everything else happens behind the scenes.

I

beginning

You tell us

A photograph. A name. The small, private details nobody else would know to mention.

Four to six short questions, unique to each gift. A name, a memory, a mood, the occasion. Two minutes of quiet writing is usually enough — the specifics you send are the only material we work with.

making

We compose

Our team shapes the direction, the light, the words — until it could only belong to one person.

Every piece is drafted fresh and read carefully before it leaves the studio. There is no template drawer, no pool of pre-written lines. What you send us is what shapes the work — and if the first version isn't quite right, we'll rewrite it as many times as it takes.

arriving

You give it

A finished piece arrives, made once and never again. Then you watch their face.

The finished piece arrives by email. Songs, letters and storybooks land within a few hours. The short film takes up to 48 hours because it is produced frame by frame from your photographs. You receive high-quality files to keep, print, forward, or hold onto quietly.
